Khatron Ke Khiladi 6-Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns that started off on 7th February came to a great end on 12th April. The stunt reality show made its exit with ‘Dhamal’ movie Bollywood actor Aashish Chaudhary winning the sixth season.

These two months including 10 weeks, 16 contestants and 59 stunts had lots of excitement, fear and adventure. Aashish superbly won the final stunt of this season and went on to become the winner, against Chang. Besides Meiyang Chang who became the first finalist, the other finalists were Iqbal Khan and Sagarika Ghatge.

The final stunt covered jumping from chopper to swimming to blasting. It was an individual stunt. The contestants were taken by a chopper in the middle of the water and dropped down. They had to swim to a plank floating in the water to grab two keys. When they did, a jetty took the contestant near to a bank. The contestant had to swim towards the shore, quickly unlock boxes along with keys and when on finding a handle, he had to insert in the right position that would have a great blast a few distance away. When the boxes blast, time gets over! First Aashish did the stunt followed by Chang.

As Chang at first swam in the opposite direction, took quite a bit of time to finish his stunt, whereas Aashish finished the stunt in less time.

The finale night saw brilliant action dances performed by some of the contestants. Stunt maestro Rohit Shetty was an outstanding mentor and showed to be unique formula for the successful season Khatron Ke Khiladi which broke earlier records and gained highest ratings this year.

Aashish won the trophy, Rs 25 lakh amount and also a Mahindra Scorpio car. After win Aashish said, “It’s been a huge surprise that I won. During this whole journey I only concentrated on enjoying my every stunt, and making new friends. I never thought of winning, or neither had I come into elimination rounds. I believe I had a dream run on the show.”
