Indian stars are famous for their statue displays at Madame Tussauds in the lovely city London. It was in 2000 when Amitabh Bachchan’s statue was unveiled, followed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s statue unveiled in 2004, Shahrukh Khan’s statue unveiled in 2007, Salman Khan’s statue unveiled in 2008, Sachin Tendulkar’s statue revealed in 2009, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s statues revealed in 2011, Madhuri Dixit-Nene’s statue unveiled in 2012, and now it is the turn of Katrina Kaif’s statue to be revealed at Madame Tussauds on 27th March, 2015.

Katrina Kaif in dancing pose

As Katrina Kaif belongs to London and most of her life is spent over there before she headed over to India to become a Bollywood star, having her own statue there would be too special for the lady. She will be portrayed in an India traditional folk dance posture, with her body at an angle as well as arms stretched, thus taking quite a lot of space, than other stars. Many a times in the past, Madame Tussauds choose Katrina via online polling contest where she was the favorite among audiences as she won on big margin more than her two popular contemporaries.

Katrina’s traditional dancing posture to be reveled

When asked about her reaction on having her statue and whether she has ever dreamt of it, Katrina conveyed, “Madame Tussauds is an important part of London’s visiting places. So it is hard to even imagine it. On hearing that it includes big stars, somewhere felt superb that would be pretty good. When this news was announced, I returned home and excitedly shared with my friends.” Her favorite is of course Sachin Tendulkar’s statue as it was very much similar to him.

Super-excited Katrina Kaif

Well fans, viewers and visitors will be eagerly waiting for the unveiling of Katrina Kaif’s statue in dancing posture on 27th March. 🙂
