After a great win of 3-0 against South Africa in Test series at the home-ground, India is hosting Bangladesh for the second tie this year. Bangladesh players are in India to play against Indians. The Tigers will surely try to give their best shot while playing with Men in Blue. They are playing the three T20I matches followed by two Test Matches. The test match results will bring the valued World Test Championship [WTC] points.
Youngsters in the Indian team will get a chance to prove themselves in these matches, before the T20 World Cup in Australia in 2020. As Virat Kohli is put into rest for the T20I series, Rohit Sharma is the captain.
For the first time, the second Test match between India and Bangladesh will be the first-ever Day/Night test at Eden Gardens.
As few of the Bangladesh players like Tamim Iqbal, Mohammad Saifuddin, and Shakib Al Hasan are missing because of injuries and controversy, the responsibility is mainly on the experienced players like Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, and Mustafizur Rahman.
