The first year students can select Odissi, Yoga, or else join NCC, NSS, or a sports team like cricket, volleyball and badminton to earn one credit. They need to clear their chosen activity in order to earn BTech degree. Ten girls have already selected Odissi after it was recently initiated.

Coming to the second and third years, Odissi will develop into an elective subject. Different selections of subjects will be international relations, financial management, and entrepreneurship. In a year each of the two semesters would be hold three credits. In the final year the students can carry on or discontinue learning about Odissi course.
