India Independence Day 2024: Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Campaign
In celebration of Independence Day, the Ministry of Defence has launched the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ tree-planting drive. Initiated by Prime Minister Modi on World Environment Day, this campaign aims to plant 1.5 million trees across the country, involving the armed forces and organizations like DRDO, defense PSUs, CGDA, NCC, and Sainik Schools.
