Recently Bigg Boss has kept its contestants fighting among themselves for Ticket to Finale. Prince Narula becomes the first finalist of Bigg Boss 9, and Kishwer Merchant quits the Ticket to Finale task in the second and last leg, and bids goodbye to the house with Rs 15 lakhs. In the meantime with Prince being the first finalist, the prize money has lessened to Rs 39.66 lakhs. Today’s episode at 10.30 pm showcases the end of the task.
The fans of Prince will be excited to see him in the finale, while fans of Kishwer will be sad on her exit. Kishwer is certainly a strong contender and deserves to reach the finale, but the cunning twist from Bigg Boss will put Kishwer and Prince in a tough position. Thus Kishwer decides to quit from Ticket to Finale task and leaves the house taking the ransom, and Prince stays till last as the first finalist. He is going to have a relaxed time now in BB.
Among the remaining contestants in the house including Rishabh, Priya, Keith, Rochelle, Mandana, Kishwer, and Prince who participated in the first task of Ticket to Finale task on 6th January, 3 people- Mandana, Kishwer, and Prince were declared winners. These 3 fought among themselves in the second task given by Bigg Boss to win the Ticket to Finale on 7th January.
Coming to second leg task given to Mandana, Kishwer, and Prince, the 3 options were given by Bigg Boss: A. If anyone among the three presses the buzzer first, she/he will go out of the game, but still remain in the BB house as normal contestant; B. If the buzzer is pressed second by a person, she/he will evict out, winning Rs 6,33,333 lakhs; C. If any person presses the buzzer third, then she/he will get the Ticket to Finale straightaway.
The three contenders won’t have water or food staying in the box. The moment Bigg Boss rang a bell with the signal for the start of the task, Mandana firstly pressed the buzzer and got out of the booth followed by Kishwer. So she is out of the game but will be there in the house.
Thus the competition is between Kishwer and Prince took place, but both didn’t want to call off from the game. Here Bigg Boss intelligently made the announcement that the task won’t be cancelled anyhow under any situation. Last night Kishwer and Narula remained in the booth bravely, in spite of cold and no water and food. Both were not ready to give up easily, but after a conversation between two, Kishwer decided to quit and press the buzzer which leads her to leave the show with Rs 15 lakhs. This takes Prince directly to the finale.
According to the social media news that is doing the rounds, it seems Kishwer comes out of the house as she tweets on her official account, “Thank u guys for all the unconditional love and full support; missed u all very much.” This will mostly be showcased in today’s episode.
This task continues for a good 30-35 hours with quite many modifications in the prize money. The task assigned by Bigg Boss is unfair for the best two contenders, and it stands as surprising when Kishwer, one of the strongest and deserving housemates quits and had to leave the house unluckily. She will be seen at the Grand Finale. She is certainly a great performer, but couldn’t be a finalist.
Most probably Mandana will be eliminated next among the remaining housemates. This shows Prince Narula has all the chances to win the Bigg Boss 9 Grand Finale because he has performed all the tasks of Bigg Boss excellently, and also has many fan-followings. Becoming the first finalist is surely a big happiness for Prince, and after winning three reality shows earlier, he is eyeing to win another big reality show, Bigg Boss 9.
This weekend will be interesting to watch on Saturday, January 9 (9 pm) as Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor will visit Bigg Boss stage for the third time to promote her film Neerja, a biopic on Neerja Bhanot that releases on February 9. Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor will have good time, dancing in the tunes of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
