Star Plus is applying to its Nayi Soch theme in full swing as it arrived with a brand new show titled Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil. Ekta Kapoor launched her new show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, which is an adaption of 1997 film, Subhash Ghai’s Pardes. Replacing Siya Ke Ram, this new show PMHMD started off from Monday, 7th November at 8 pm. The lead roles are being played by Drashti Dhami [female lead] as Naina, and Arjun Bijlani [male lead] as Raghav. Laksh Lalwani will also be seen as a vital part of PMHMD who plays the role of Veer. The show will exhibit an amazing chemistry between Drashti and Arjun. The genre of the show is going to be dramatic as well as romantic.

Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, a Hindi romantic daily soap will touch the hearts of millions of viewers and they would love to watch this new story concept, shot also in Austria. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms. Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil is written by Ritu Bhatia, directed by Neeraj Baliyan Imran, and composed by Pamela Jain. Plot/Storyline
The main characters are portrayed by Drashti Dhami, Arjun Bijlani and Laksh Lalwani. Based on Pardes starring Shah Rukh Khan, Drashti Dhami will play the role of Mahima Chaudhary as Naina; Laksh Lalwani will play the role of Apurva Agnihotri as Veer; and Arjun Bijlani will play SRK’s role as Raghav. Aditi Gupta will act as Sanjana in PMHMD.

Drashti Dhami is enacting a simple Indian girl, Naina, a teacher who has her own dreams and aspirations. She stays with her mother, acted by Alka Amin who suffers from cancer. Naina works hard to earn money for her mom’s cancer treatment. She fell in love with a guy two years back, but broke up as she didn’t want to leave her mom. After two years, they both meet and get engaged. Her fiancée left for abroad alone, and after her mom recovered, Naina makes up her mind to travel to Austria to meet her fiancée. Will she find something unusual about her fiancée when she reaches there; the audience would like to see! The story follows ahead where Naina will work as a teacher in Austria, still trying to find her true love.
