This year Kaun Banega Crorepati is back with its 15th season, with Amitabh Bachchan being the most-loved host again. KBC Season 15 started with flying wings on 14th August at 9 PM IST.

This time KBC has adopted a different format, as they have utilized a revised format. Big B in the promo has referred this to be a ‘new beginning.’ The total amount to win in KBC 15 is ₹7.5 crore. Sushmita Sahay, a retired squadron leader, entered the 15th season of KBC as the first participant. From Monday to Thursday, one among the winning contestants who answers the right answer first gets a chance to sit and play with Amitabh Bachchan and win. Only on Fridays, well-known personalities (like film stars) are invited to play KBC.

What’s New Offering on KBC 15?

Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15 sees a few interesting alterations in this season.

  • The Super Sandook, a new addition to KBC 15, gives contestants the chance to make up lost ground. After finishing the second level of “Super Sandook,” the contestants attempt a round of rapid-fire questions. Ten questions are given to participants, and they have 90 seconds to respond. Each correct question is rewarded with 10,000. The 50,000 prize winners may decide to save the money in their bank accounts or restore a lifeline.
  • The 50:50 is being replaced by Double Dip.
  • The “Triple Test” was omitted with “Fastest Finger First” in its place.
  • “Video Call a Friend” and “Audience Poll” are also available this time.
