It is certainly a proud moment for all the Indians as they celebrate the 69th Independence Day on Saturday, 15th August, 2015. This time the BJP government will commemorate the occasion along with people.
In the history of India, the people of our country will observe the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi live for the first time from Red Fort. Since he came to power, this will be his first time Independence Day celebration. There will be full security at New Delhi Red Fort. Narendra Modi will be hoisting the national flag at 8 am tomorrow, with national anthem in the backdrop. Besides his speech, Modi will be proclaiming few policies of BJP government. After his speech ends, as the order is passed, the states will begin the celebrations of Independence Day.
Our country accomplished Independence on 15th August, 1947 at midnight from British Raj. Every year on this very day Indians pay honor to our great freedom fighters and leaders who have fought for our country’s independence and gave their lives. On this day, schools, colleges, and offices remain closed across the country. According to the practice, our President Pranab Mukherjee will convey a special address to the whole nation, followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flag hoisting and speech deliverance. Few school children will be participating in special programs to be held tomorrow at Red Fort. Huge number of people will flock to Red Fort to view it.
Indians on 15th August celebrate the foundation of modern India as they rejoice the happiness of freedom. They send messages wishing Independence Day to their loved ones. Many evergreen songs are sung on this that arouses the patriotic emotions among Indian people, which includes Aye mere watan ke logon; Ab tumhare hawale watan saathiyon; Ae mere pyaare watan, tujhpe dil kurbaan; Vande Mataram; etc. Other known songs are Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walo [Dus]; I Love My India [Pardes]; Des Rangeela [Fanna], Rang De Basanti title song; Maa Tujhe Salaam; and Aisa Des Hai Mera [Veer Zaara]. Many patriotic movies are also shown on television for the viewers.
All the schools and colleges will be rejoicing the Independence Day, and so as many offices in India. Thus all you people should get out of your homes and attend this day’s celebration by saluting our National flag. You can also tune into any news channel [English and Hindi] to watch live telecast from Red Fort from 8 am.
