1# Find out who has read your message in Individual and Group Chat: Some people in group chat and individual chat miss out reading your messages. When you send a message, double blue ticks are visible which approaches when your friends have read your message in group as well as in individual chat box. But now you can easily get to know who hasn’t read your messages and who has read your messages. You just need to tap and hold on to your message, and click on Info option given at the top right; by this you can know the exact time your message has been delivered and also read by the other person or not.

2# Make a Tap to Speak: If you are not intending to type messages to your friend as you might feel boring to do so, you can easily use another WhatsApp feature by pressing Mic button given in your keypad, and speak your long messages, and further send the contact person.

3# Tag friends in a Group Chat: You can mention anyone from your group chat as you type @ symbol along with selection of his/her name from pop-up list. While mentioning any person in a message, he/she will get a notification.

5# Make Shortcuts for Significant Contracts: You can easily make shortcuts for your significant contact on the home screen of your smartphone. You just need to go to your contact’s Chat Window>Settings>More>Add Shortcut. Thus you can view the shortcut on your home screen.
6# Reply to a Particular Message: Your friend might be asking you many questions at one go. You might be confused which question you should answer firstly. WhatsApp has aided you to answer each of their questions individually. So you can press on the message you would like to answer, then opt for the Reply button, and further type and send your reply.

If you have to send your friends a single Happy Birthday message, you enter into your Chat screen, then tap on menu button, and click on New Broadcast to select your contacts whom you want to forward your message.

10# Mute Noisy Group and Individual Chat Notifications: It can be irritating to come across constant messages. In order to mute these messages, you can tap on a particular group name or individual contact name > tap on Mute and next choose how long you would like to mute the chat for: 8 hours, 1 week, or 1 year.

11# Send your Location to the Contact Person: If you want to make someone know where exactly you are or you will be going, you can send him/her a map of your exact location. You just need to tap on Share icon>Send your Location/Search for a particular place. Before sending the location, you should turn-on your GPS.

12# Voice Call: If you want to talk for a long time with your contact person, you just need to tap on the Voice Call, and talk for free at a stretch. One can listen to the other person clearly through WhatsApp’s Voice call feature.

13# Video Call: This is the latest WhatsApp feature that is launched on 15th November 2016. You just need to tap on Video Call to get in touch with your contact person. 14# Select Photo from Gallery or your Selfie and Send: You can enter into a contact person’s chat list on WhatsApp, tap on camera, select any preferred photo from gallery, or your selfie, add a caption, and further send that photo to him/her.
