Gionee W909 features two 4.2-inch 720p displays, one inside and the other outside. Both the screens are assumed to be equal IPS panels. The device is a dual-screen flip smartphone that runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and 4GB RAM. W909 is powered by 1.8 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor along with Mali T860 GPU. It is filled with 64GB storage that is expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Gionee W909 approaches with rear camera- 16 megapixels, front camera- 5 megapixels, with LED Flash, and PDAF. It offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G LTE, GPS connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, and 2530 mAH battery. On the back side of W909, there is a fingerprint sensor right below the rear camera that allows you to unlock the smartphone in only 0.38 seconds. Its dimensions include 124.1 x 62.8 x 16.5 mm, and weight is 207.7 grams.
