The popularity of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has certainly raised the temperature in its Season 9 as its episodes showcase magnificent performances by the contestants. Colors have become famous with this celebrity dance reality show’s TRPs touching heights in this season. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Season 9 that premiered on 30th July 2016, is nearing towards its grand finale by the year-end. Yes, you heard it right- the Grand Finale of JDJ will be aired on Saturday, 31st December 2016 at 10 PM; though this date might vary to next year!

The final three contestants have been chosen by the judges and studio audience including Salman Yussuf Khan, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Teriya Magar. Contestant Siddharth Nigam was the fourth and the last one to get eliminated from Jhalak.

Wild Card Entry with Dwayne Bravo on 24th December
Just before the Grand Finale, Jhalak has kept a wild card entry surprise, just to give a shock to the top 3 finalists. In this season, the first 5 wild card entry kids’ contestants included Spandan, Gracy, Swasti, Teriya, and Siddharth, and now West Indians renowned cricketer and singer Dwayne Bravo will be entering Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as the 6th wild card contestant, and it is the most awaited moment for the audience to watch him dance on the Bollywood songs. Recognized as DJ Bravo, he is already admired for his excellent dance moves.

This international champion will now compete against Salman, Shantanu, and Teriya on Satuday, 24th December. This episode will be exciting as Bravo is already a CHAMPION dude (if you all remember his “Champion we are real Champion” rap song); can he compete with other 3 finalists? Most probably Shantanu Maheshwari will perform on Ganesh Hedge’s hit song Main Deewana; Teriya Magar dancing on Fushion song Sun Saathiya (Bollywood) and Mala Jau Dya Na Ghari (Marathi), and Salman Yussuf Khan will showcase his dance on romantic song Sanam Re on the last final episode which will decide the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’s winner.

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan will be the special guest of grand finale where he’ll execute few superb dancing moves along with judges- Farah Khan, Ganesh Hedge, Jacqueline Fernandes and Karan Johar. He will promote his upcoming movie Kaabil that will release on 25th January, 2017. The four judges welcome Hrithik with warm hearts!

The 9th season is certainly going great as Jhalak judges give new dance moves along with themes every week to the contestants where they’ve to showcase their 200% dance in order to get 10-10-10 points from the 3 judges. In the season 8 Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded, the winners were Faisal Khan and Vashnavi. Let’s see, who is going to achieve the trophy of Jhalak this season: will it be Salman, Shantanu or Teriya!

The Grand Finale stage will see lots of fun and excitement on Saturday, 30th December from 10 pm. Apart from the top 3 finalists’ dances; few of the other contestants may perform on that day. Host Manish Paul will be cracking his humorous jokes, and many more to watch on Jhalak for the last time. In this Jhalak season, only the 3 judges, Farah Khan, Jacqueline Fernandes, Ganesh Hedge, and Karan Johar, along with the studio audience can vote for the top 3 finalists who have danced amazingly in front of them. Calculating the Judges’ votes plus votes from Audience Poll will decide the winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9.
