The 12th edition of ICC World Cup 2019 is having its last match on its last and final day at Lords. New Zealand and England face each other in the finals on Sunday, July 14 at Lord’s stadium, England.
Both the teams haven’t won the World Cup yet, so they’ll put their best foot forward in defeat the opponent team. New Zealand beat India by 18 runs to get to the finals, whereas England beat Australia by 8 wickets to climb to the finals.

New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 214-8 in 50 overs. Then England, chasing 242 for victory, were all out for 241, ending the final in a tie and sending it to the Super Over, which also ended in a tie. England took the World Cup on the basis of more boundaries scored in the match and Super Over in Lord’s at Trafalgar Square in London on Sunday. Nevertheless, the kiwis, though they couldn’t succeed, still remain the winner too as the Super Over was a tie too. Congrats to the team of New Zealand for giving amazing performances throughout the World Cup season, including the finals.
Congratulations to New Zealand’s Kane Williamson for becoming the second skipper to win the player of the tournament in the history of World Cup.
