Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh who remained a bachelor for a longer time, finally got hitched with Mumbai-based Rukmini Sahay in holy marriage. The wedding of the sweet couple was celebrated on Thursday, 9th February at Udaipur. The reception will be arranged on Friday, 17th February at JW Marriot in Mumbai where 500 guests including Bollywood celebrities and relatives have been invited. Though Neil performed some good roles in his movies, but media always speculated who would be the lucky girl in his life. Neil recently shared details about his fiancée that his family chose Rukmini for him, and she is the perfect girl he wanted as a partner. Neil and Rukmini got engaged on 11th October, Tuesday, on the Dussehra occasion at a Juhu hotel in Mumbai.

Neil weds Rukmini

It was a big fat wedding for Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rukmini Sahay who tied know in front of their parents, relatives and close friends on Thursday, 9th February at Udaipur hotel. The celebrations continued for three long days including dance, masti, songs, and great food and decoration arrangement. Neil belongs to the third generation of film family, whereas Rukmini is from a non-Bollywood family, working in an aviation industry.

Neil was wearing a deep maroon and gold ensemble as he looked classy, while Rukmini was wearing ornate lehenga along with stones, sadhi and resham works on it as she looked beautiful. The wedding outfits of bride and groom were designed by Sarath Krishnan. In the morning of 9th, haldi and chuda chadai took place, and in the evening was their wedding. The wedding went off well, following a family dinner. Neil-Rukmini’s wedding was attended by Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor, and late Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela.

Pre-wedding Celebrations

Mehendi, sangeet and a cocktail party was organized on Wednesday, 8th February. An impressive welcome was given to the couple, their family and friends when they reached Udaipur hotel on Tuesday, 8th February. Pre-wedding celebrations began in full swing from that day itself.

The first celebration evening in Udaipur was just amazing to view where Rukmini in her light green lehenga and Neil in his orange kurta pyjama danced on the stage to Kaala Chasma (from Baar baar Dekho movie).

Neil too sang Kabira (from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), mesmerizing his partner. Rukmini was dancing on Laung Gavacha by Piya Tose and Nuclea in her sangeet function. The couple decided not to choreograph for their sangeet dance; instead everyone should get together naturally.  In the cocktail party, Rukmini wore a pretty gown and Neil was seen in a tux. Neil and Rukmini’s dream destination wedding in Udaipur was certainly a dreamy visual to experience.

Groom’s father Nitin Mukesh is hugely excited as he conveyed saying, “This is the happiest moment of our lives; we couldn’t have asked for more. God has been kind with us with Neil getting married. He has done so much for our family. Owning him something, we’ve done something through his wedding. Rukmini is every bit of what we dreamt for Neil. We hope they have a great life ahead, and I also want to see my grandchildren.”
