Sony channel has grown its huge popularity with distinct TV shows from various genres like CID, Crime Petrol, Beyhadh, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, and many other current shows that are ruling the evening time-slot. The new mythological show Prithvi Vallabh resembles the mega-hit movie Baahubali 2. This historical drama is produced by Aniruddh Pathak under the Writers Galaxy banner. The story is written by Aniruddh himself and he is also the cinematographer. Prithvi Vallabh got telecast on Sony from Saturday, 20th January.

The show will cover 2 seasons, each having 40 episodes. Every Saturday and Sunday, Prithvi Vallabh will appear on Sony from 9.30 pm. The story is basically based on the book of famous Gujarati writer Kanhaiyalal Munshi. This show will showcase the unknown tale of Prithvi Vallabh, a ruler who dared to fight for his country without gaining any limelight. The leading pair includes Ashish Sharma as Prithvi Vallabh (male) and Sonarika Bhadoria as Mrinalvati (female).

Storyline/Plot of Prithvi Vallabh

The story portrays the life journey of two kings – one is the king of Avantipur, Prithvi Vallabh, a kind and peaceful man, and the other is his neighboring king, Tailap, who is very cruel in nature. The two kingdoms Malwas and Manyakhets have been each other’s enemies since the time Manyakhets were betrayed by Malwa King Singhdant on Diwali. The whole family of Manyakhets was killed, except Princess Mrinal and her younger brother Tailap who escaped somehow. Princess Mrinal is very talented and skilled in music, art, and weapon using. She loves his brother Tailap dearly.

Because of her family’s death, Princess turned cold-hearted and seeks revenge on Malvas. Mrinal forces her brother to take revenge against Prithvi Vallabh, prince of Malwa. With the aid of his sister Mrinalvati and another neighboring king, Tailap manages to capture Prithvi Vallabh and puts him in prison. In the meanwhile, Prithvi falls in love Mrinalvati.  Will Mrinal who has no feeling of love in her fall for Prithvi? Will love grow between Prithvi and Mrinal? Will Mrinal be able to attack Malwa?
