The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is underway from June 1 to 29 in the Caribbean and the United States. This year, 20 teams will compete for the title currently held by England. Notably, it is the first major ICC event to feature matches in the United States and any country in the Americas outside of the West Indies. The West Indies is hosting the T20 World Cup for the second time, having previously hosted the 2010 edition.

Format of ICC T20 World Cup
The matches are organized into two group-based rounds followed by a knockout stage starting with the semifinals.
In the first group stage, the teams are divided into four groups of five. After a round-robin series, the top two teams from each group move on to the Super Eight.
The Super Eight stage features two groups of four teams each. These teams will also play in a round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals.
