Indian cricket team is touring Sri Lanka as they are set to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The matches will begin from July 18 and continue till July 29. All the India Vs Sri Lanka tour matches will be held at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The ODI series will create a part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.

The Men in Blue Team India will be presenting new players in a limited-over series against Sri Lanka, sans Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah. Captaincy will be led by Shikhar Dhawan, which will be his first international captaincy stint. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the Vice-captain. Rahul Dravid will be the head coach for the first time in his career on India’s National team. This tour is overlapping with India’s participation in the 2021 ICC World Test Championship Final and a Test series against England. It would certainly be interesting to watch this tour’s matches with these Indian players!

India did not name the individual squads for the ODI and T20I matches, instead they selected to name a combined squad of 20 members. Net bowlers also include Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrier, Arshdeep Singh, Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore and Simarjeet Singh.
